What is a visa extension or visa renewal?
Visa extension
Visa extension is just a small stamp, you can choose a new visa stamp valid for another 15 days, 30 days, 90 days or 180 days (only when your current visa is 5-years visa exemption). It’s also called a single entry as you could not use this visa to travel outside Vietnam and then come back. It will be canceled when you leave the country even when the visa stamp still valid. Therefore, you have to apply for a new Vietnam Visa before coming to Vietnam again.
