3 months single entry visa
With a single visa, you are allowed to enter and exit Vietnam only one time during the 3-month validity of the visa. It is also called a visa with a single-use. When you leave Vietnam, the visa stamp will be canceled and you can not enter Vietnam again. You have to apply for a new one before coming back to the country again.
3 months multiple entry visa
With multiple entry visa, you can make repeat visits to our country. There is no limited entry time during visa validity.
How to get a Vietnam Visa for 3 months
Currently, there are 02 ways to get a 3 months visa of Vietnam.
Applying for a visa at Vietnam Embassy/Consulate
This is a traditional way for foreign travelers to apply for a Vietnam visa. You need to check about the Embassy address, their working hours, requirements before going to the office. The basic requirements are:
- Submit the valid original passport
- Fill in visa application form (available to collect at the Embassy/Consulate)
- Cash for stamping fee
Then wait until collecting your passport back with the visa stamp.
The standard processing time is 3 – 5 working days, after you have submitted all required documents (except the weekends and public holidays).
For a detailed answer, you should make a call to your agency or to the Vietnam Embassy in advance.
Applying Vietnam visa On Arrival
Visa on arrival airport is used by many people who live so far away from the Vietnam Embassy or Consulate. It should be noted, there are many countries do not have these Offices. Furthermore, this way is really suitable for foreign travelers who do not have free time to visit the Embassy or do not want to lose the documents (original passport, money, and others) by postal mail.

- Apply for a visa online by filling the visa application form with full name details, date of birth, passport number, nationality, arrival date and select a type of visa (tourist or business).

The visa processing time depends on your selection. Normally, it takes only 03 working days to process your visa letter. If you wish to get it done within a day or less than 30 minutes in the emergency case, the extra fees will be added.
