South African citizens are required to apply for a tourist visa before coming to Vietnam for visiting/traveling purposes. Besides a valid Vietnam visa, travelers have to check about the passport validity. It must be valid for at least 6 months beyond arrival time and have 02 blank pages left.

How South African Citizens can get a Vietnam tourist visa
1. Apply at the local Embassy:

- Fill in the secure application form online
- Get a visa approval letter within 3 working days or less.
- Submit the letter to get a visa stamp on arrival airport in Vietnam.

How much does the tourist visa for South African citizens cost?
South African citizens need to pay 02 type of fees for a tourist visa on arrival airport:
- Service fee: pay for us to handle your visa application at the Immigration Department in Vietnam.
- Stamp fee: is regulated by Government, pay to officers on arrival airport in order to get visa stamp onto your passport.
The standard processing time is 3 working days. And expedited service is available.
- Urgent case: you have to pay the extra US $20 to get the result from 4 – 8 hours.
- Emergency case: you have to pay the extra US $80 and we will send you the result within 45 minutes.
