Vietnam airport visa is a type of visa issued on arrival checkpoints in Vietnam that allows tourists to enter and stay in Vietnam for a certain period of time. Yemeni citizens and foreign travelers, who need a visa to Vietnam, can apply for a visa online then submit the letter and get a visa stamp upon arrival in Vietnam. It’s called visa on arrival (VOA). This is the fastest and cheapest way to get a Vietnam visa.
In order to get a visa on arrival, applicants need to follow 3 simple steps as below:
- Complete in visa application form.
- Receive a visa approval letter or Vietnam E-visa via email after handling time.
- Print out the letter and submit it at “Landing visa office” after arriving at Vietnam International checkpoint (seaports; borderlands; airports) to get a full stamp into your passport.

Prepare necessary documents before start your trip to Vietnam
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from date of entry.
- Latest photo with size 4x6cm.
- Round-trip airfare or hotel booking confirmation
- A copy of visa letter
- Complete visa application form – form NA1, in advance (can obtain on arrival check points).
