Albanian passport holders have REQUIRED a visa to Vietnam for any purpose. There are 02 ways for Albanian citizens to apply a Vietnam visa. You can apply at the local Embassy or visa on arrival airport.
1. Apply at the Vietnam Embassy/Consulate
Unfortunately, there is NO Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in Albania. Albanian citizens need to visit the Vietnam Embassy in Greece, the nearest country, to apply for a Vietnam visa.
Similarly, if you are currently living outside of Albania, you need to contact the local Embassy/Consulate in the country where you are residing (if any).
2. Vietnam Visa on arrival online.
Another way for Albanian citizens is applying for a visa online. In short, you just need to complete 03 simple steps as below:
- Fill in secure application form online and wait for a confirmation.
- Be received a visa approval letter after processing time.
- Print out and submit the letter to Immigration Officers on arrival airport in Vietnam, then get a visa sticker into your passport.

Importantly, the visa on arrival airport accepts only when you travel by air. If you enter Vietnam via borderland, you have to visit the Consulate to get a visa stamp beforehand.
